Debra is the founder and owner of The HR Agenda. Debra is known for her free-flowing style and curiosity – sessions are never dull and reflect her humour and light touch. Debra attends to what is pressing and pertinent in the moment, helping people to unblock their limiting beliefs and move confidently towards their goals.
For leaders attending The HR Agenda, it is Debra’s warm, informal and human style that make their experience unique and powerful. With a sharp nose for what is really going on under the surface, Debra is able to ask the questions that need to be asked to facilitate shifts in thinking.
Debra is a former HR Director and senior leader in a large global business. She has established The HR Agenda to support and challenge HR leaders to be at their best in what she found to be a rewarding as well as demanding role and environment.
From her time spent working in various industry sectors as an HR specialist, Debra has developed a deep understanding of what it takes to lead a human capital function. She also brings a strong commercial background as a result of her experience in operational business roles and fee-earning consultancy.
Debra is a Fellow of the CIPD and an assessor on their Experienced Assessment programme. She is a qualified coach with Henley Business School and attends regular supervision.
